Los Heliconiini (Lepidoptera, Nymphalidae) de Venezuela

Illustrations and data on variation, distribution and biology are presented for the 42 species and 88 subspecies of Heliconiini known from Venezuela, with indication of a further 5 species, and 6 subspecies of the species already known, which are still expected to be found within the country. 11 new subspecies are described.
