Description of a new species of the genus Pedaliodes from Cerro La Neblina, Venezuela (Lepidoptera, Satyridae)

Pedaliodes demarmelsi spec. nov. is described and figured from material collected in the Cerro de La Neblina, Amazonas, Venezuela. This is the first Pedaliodes (s. str.) known to be endemic from the Guayana Plateau highlands
